Patricia Grady Endorsed by Texans for Lawsuit Reform for the 212th District Court

Patricia Grady, the conservative Republican Primary for the 212th Judicial District Court in Galveston County, has received the endorsement of Texans for Lawsuit Reform (TLR). TLR has been in the lead of the fight against frivolous lawsuits in Texas and it is uncommon for them to endorse a local judicial candidate. Patricia believes this endorsement reflects her reputation for fairness and independence from plaintiff’s lawyers and other special interest groups.

Ms. Grady observed that “I have been an attorney for over 18 years and I have noticed the impact of trial lawyer contributions on the election of judges. I promise that as the Judge of the 212th, I will have a level playing field for all people. The scales of justice will not be tilted to favor one side over the other under my watch.”

Ms. Grady is a graduate of the University of Houston Law Center. She maintained a law practice with offices in Houston then in Houston and Galveston for over 18 years. In 2011, she left private practice and entered public service working as the Legal Liaison for the Republican Galveston County Judge. Her role was expanded when she was appointed unanimously by the Galveston County Judiciary to serve as a Juvenile Referee.
